The Volvo V50 is a front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive five-seater class D station wagon. The car is built on the basis of the second generation Volvo S40 sedan. The debut of the Volvo V50 took place at the end of 2004 at the AW Tosalon in Bologna. Facelift - 2007.

The Volvo V50 is considered a close relative of the S40 sedan, so in many ways these two AW cars are similar. True, the Swedes' V50 turned out to be 5 cm longer. They position this model as a sports station wagon.

The original body and numerous options for its finishing allow everyone who has chosen the Volvo V50 to create their own unique AW car that will fully express the individual preferences of its owner.

A large selection of colors, alloy wheels and other body trim elements will satisfy even the most demanding customers.

To emphasize the dynamic character of the V50, the manufacturer offers specially designed body trim options: Medea alloy wheels, a sports chassis, a sports body kit (front spoiler, side skirts and rear lower spoiler), a roof spoiler and sports exhaust pipes.

The design and level of equipment of the Volvo V50 has stepped forward. The combination of a stunning exterior and excellent driving characteristics has allowed the AW car to become a powerful competitor in this segment. The smooth contours of the hood and body harmonize well with the sharp lines of the rear of the V50. A more compact engine layout allowed for more space in the cabin.

The long wheelbase and Volvo's signature transverse engine layout give the Volvo V50 a very spacious interior. The salon is easily transformed. The rear seat is divided into two sections, its backrests fold down. The front passenger seat is equipped with a backrest that, when folded, creates a flat surface. With the seats folded down, the luggage compartment floor will be completely flat.

The interior of the spacious salon looks elegant and harmonious. The unique, very thin front console (first introduced in the new Volvo S40) appears to float in the air, forming the upper level of the cabin. It connects the tunnel console to the front panel, emphasizing the style and lightness of the design.

Behind the front console there is a practical storage compartment for personal items, easily accessible from both sides. This compartment is illuminated to enhance the feeling of carefully thought-out functionality.

Like other interior panels of the AW vehicle, the front console can be ordered with various decorative panels. This allows the buyer to adapt the AW car to suit individual tastes.

In the basic version, the color of this panel matches the main color of the interior. The transparent plastic version - "IcedAqua" - is completely unique. It creates a high-tech atmosphere because it allows you to see electronics and other technical stuff.

The dark wood panel creates an impression of elegance and sophistication. The "aluminum" panel, made of real metal, creates a feeling of functionality and the highest quality. The interior can have one of three colors: black with a tint, gray and dark beige. For each interior color there is a range of harmonizing upholstery colors.

One of the four upholstery materials offered is leather. Dala's most innovative upholstery is a textile with ribs, T-Tec elements and prominent light stitching. T-Tec is a material specially developed for Volvo Cars.
